Vascular repair and endothelial progenitor cells.

This review aims to identify the advances in vascular repair by endothelial progenitor cells and regenerative endothelial cells. A growing number of studies indicate that bone marrow derived circulating EPCs may regulate vascular repair, and their summary is that deeper understanding of these cells will form the basis of future regenerative therapies.
